After 13 years my first Frigidaire micro wave ceased to do its job. Speaking to friends that Had other friends I found out our Frigidaire surpassed theirs by years. My existing Frigidaire microwave gave out after 10 years of trouble free service. Since our existing microwave oven was white and matched our trouble free Frigidaire oven , range and dishwasher I was anxious to replace it with a unit that was white. My online research quickly revealed that Frigidaire offered a microwave that had the same features,capacity and dimensions as the oven I was replacing and that I would be able to install the new one with a minimum amount of effort. I received the oven in 7 days and with the assistance of my wife I was able to install it in a couple of hours.

When my old wall oven broke I purchased a Frigidaire Model FFEW3026TW Wall oven. So when my old microwave broke (months later) I, of course, bought this matching Frigidaire Model FFMV1846VW Microwave. Both are white and look very nice in my kitchen. Controls are easy to understand and use. Both were easy to install. I have no regrets in my purchases and would recommend these both models to anyone who wants a basic oven/microwave that performs well.

I bought this and it sounds like a freight train. It is loud and very noisy. Even with the fan on you can hear it running. The appliance stores technician said it needs a new motor for the rotating plate. He is not able to get a new one for it yet. I am very disappointed as I just bought it.

The Frigidaire microwave is basic, but works like it should. Last one I bought lasted 14 years and it was the in the Gallery series. Because of the pandemic I could not find one. You could find GE and few other brands, but not Frigidaire. This should tell you right away, when it is good it's gone! I bought GE and it was broken with in 3 months and it could not be fixed and I have been stung before, they did not stand behind their products. I love Frigidaire, even though it doesn't have all the features I would like to have, It works!.

This is our third microwave in 25 years and it works great. Taller and deeper than last one so it comes out more than usual but still looks fine. To make it fit, my husband added a small piece of plywood to the back wall above the tile back splash. Also we highly recommend having your microwave installed-first time for us-cost was reasonable and the two men did a quick and tidy job!

Very happy with microwave - Potatoes came out perfect, love the reheat feature - food comes out just right. Use the beverage feature often (tea water is perfect temperature). Matches my Frigidaire stove, which I also love. Would highly recommend! Was easy to install.

We thought we could just re-purchase the exact model of our microwave and drop it in between the built in cabinets. Alas, the manufacturer (not Frigidaire) added .5 inch to the depth and kept the model number. The consumer wouldn't know the impact. This Frigidaire model came to the rescue! This model's door opens "within the frame of the microwave" and not outside. Why is this important? Due to the increased depth by a .5 inch, the door couldn't be opened for more then a few inches - it was hitting the built in cabinet. The Frigidaire's door design, although the same depth, opens within the frame of the microwave. Hence the door FULLY OPENS! Thanks for this design!! Love the bright inside light and the under light - love the 'big print' on the touch pad.

I needed to replace the existing microwave in my rental unit and wanted a new unit that would not require changing the mounting brackets and meet the clearance spec over the range. I bought this to replace a 20+ yr old Frigidaire microhood. This new unit looks good, if conventional. The depth and height are a little larger than my previous one, but nearly all are these days. Features and functionality are great. Nothing top fancy.There are 2 design elements that are frustrating. First, at the very top left corner of the unit - there is a metal flange that covers the top of the door hinge. This flange rises up less than 1/4 inch above the top plane of the unit - just tall enough to prevent my cabinet door from fully opening, as it catches on the flange.The second is that right side housing doesn't clip squarely into slots in the metal side wall. There is a gap. Not sure if this particular unit had a quality control issue or if this was due to the installer.

The old microwave put in the house when built in 2004 stopped working. Who can live without a microwave?! Not this chick. Local appliance store to the rescue. This one was in stock and ready for pickup. My handyman husband was able to take out the old and replace with the new in a short time. It has a few new features that I'm learning to use. Reheat and also the melt/soften. Operation is quiet and you can turn off the beep alarm if you so wish.Ordered the inside filter from Amazon as they did not come with the unit and I use it unvented.
